Very High Frequencies 130: T.S.O.L. Jack vs. Joe
it's long running California Punk/Deathrock band T.S.O.L. (AKA True Sounds Of Liberty). Original and current vocalist Jack Grisham '78-today, goes up against second vocalist Joe Wood, '83-'91. Each version of the band gets a set, punky Jack vs. hard rock with radio hooks leaning Joe. They are also brother In-laws that eventually got very ugly & sued each other for rights to the band name. It's time to put on your Doc Martin's and blast VHF-130

Gotta give the win to Joe Wood. Jack Grisham is charming and entertaining, and the catalog of songs he’s racked up with T.S.O.L. is impressive. Plus I lean more towards punk than the pop/goth thing. But if we’re just talking about who’s the better singer… Joe Wood takes the win and is already back at home watching Golden Girls and freebasing before Jack can even see the finish line. The voice he possesses is more interesting, and he has 10x the ability. He actually sings notes and everything!!
